Traditionally, here on the blog, I like to keep you up to date with the goings on of Wind and Willow Home, new products and related design but if you are wondering what I do when I am not creating, here is your chance to get a peek at what my weekends are all about (at least in the Summer).
Here in Minnesota, where the weather is, in my opinion, cold 9 months out of the year (debatable by my husband who loves Winter) Summer can't come too soon. This year has been a treat as we have had a very mild Winter but traditionally, Memorial weekend marks the unofficial start to Summer. In the past it has been an extended weekend to get stuff done around the house but this year we are hittin' the road. One husband, 2 Kiddos, 1 dog and myself are packing up and dubbing this our summer to explore Minnesota. With our trusty mini van (knock on wood), Minnesota Historical Society membership cards, digital SLR camera, iphone with instagram loaded and ready, we will be sharing road maps, photos and our favorite moments through our blog Road Trip {MN}. Please join us by sharing your favorite places or things to do.
Of course, we will be educating our kids, enjoying the nice weather and most importantly gaining appreciation for all the beauty nature holds. HAPPY SUMMER!
